From Colorado Boulevard to TikTok LIVE: The Rose Parade Goes Digital in 2026

A 137-Year Tradition Meets Creator Culture — Powered by Seamless Connectivity and Production

For the first time in its storied history, the Rose Parade stepped beyond traditional television and into the world of short-form digital media with an official TikTok LIVE broadcast. Hosted by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, the 2026 parade embraced a new generation of viewers by partnering with TikTok for an interactive, creator-led stream that brought Pasadena’s New Year’s Day tradition to audiences worldwide.

Beginning at 8 a.m. PST on January 1, the livestream placed viewers at the iconic starting line at Orange Grove and Colorado Boulevard. Actress and creator Pressley Hosbach co-hosted alongside lifestyle creator Challan Trishann, blending behind-the-scenes access with live reactions as floats, bands, and equestrian units made their way down the historic route.

Plant entrepreneur Brandon Pruett (@brandontheplantguy) highlighted the intricate floral artistry that defines the parade, while equestrian creator Nana Kakyiri shared expert insight into the discipline and tradition behind the parade’s celebrated horse units. The result was a dynamic, interactive broadcast filled with live commentary, creator reactions, audience engagement, and close-up details rarely captured in traditional coverage.

Behind the scenes, Streaming Media Live was proud to provide dedicated internet infrastructure and production support for the TikTok LIVE broadcast ensuring stable connectivity, seamless streaming, and a smooth digital experience from start to finish. In an environment where reliability is everything, delivering consistent performance was essential to bringing this historic first to life.

We are deeply grateful to TikTok for their trust and collaboration on such a milestone moment. A heartfelt thank you as well to everyone at Squadron and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses for their continued partnership and confidence in our team. It is an honor to support an event of this cultural significance and to help bridge tradition with innovation on a global stage.

The 2026 Rose Parade proved that even a 137-year-old celebration can evolve while preserving its heritage; and we are proud, humbled, and grateful to have played a role in powering this new chapter.
