Streaming Media Live is On The Move

As production continues to grow in California amidst COVID-19 and raging wildfires, we are grateful we are able to continue to provide services for our clients!

Recent Project: Baseball in Orange, CA for Two Days

This project was challenging, due to lack of time and access to set up in the venue. Our team devised a method of using wireless camera transmitters and receivers with the Teradek Bolt 3000 and wireless comms with Clearcom FreeSpeak II System that we rented from our friends at BCLIVE. Our next challenge was that the venue had no internet. Therefore, we used our Bonded Cellular System and our IP Satellite Truck as Standby backup. Had a very successful Game with no problems.

Great Staff…Great Client…Success!

The Growing Need for "Temporary Internet Bandwidth" over Satellite Continues

We have worked on several projects in and around California, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe—delivering, on average, 20 mbps up and 20 mbps down. The key factor while using satellite is understanding the client’s workflow. In today's fast paced world of video over internet, it is imperative to have a proven system. The team at Streaming Media Live can help solve your temporary internet bandwidth problem on location—from Anywhere to Everywhere.

New Satellite News Van

Finally, we welcome the latest edition to the SML family, our new 1.2m Satellite News Van (formerly employed by Spectrum News). It is outfitted with: 1.2m Ku Band AVL Antenna, WaveStream 100 watt Buc, Satellite Modem, IFB System, Evertz Masterclock and Timecode, Tricaster 460 Switcher,  Adtec EN-80 Encoder, Fujitsu 9500e Encoder, and RD-71 IRD. It’s the perfect vehicle for IP Satellite or Traditional DVB-S2 Projects. The addition of this fully-loaded van brings our Fleet to 4 Vehicles, 1 Trailer, and 2 Flypacks.

…From Anywhere to Everywhere!
